Daltons Compost adds organic matter and nutrients to your soil, stimulating beneficial micro-organisms, improving moisture retention and boosting plant growth.
A consistent blend of composted bark and other organic materials including chicken manure and gypsum for added nutrients, Daltons Compost contains no green waste or bio-solids.
Uses
- Perfect for enriching garden and vegetable beds.
- Daltons Compost is designed to be dug in with existing soil and mixed well. Do not use in pots, instead use Daltons Potting Mix.
- Ideal for improving heavy clay soils and binding sandy soils.
- For new trees and shrubs, blend compost with the existing soil at planting time.
- For all established plants, apply around the base during the growing season.
- Can also be used as mulch when applied at a depth of 5cm.
